Here is a test layout for a newspaper. Yea, I know it’s pretty traditional…but I’m thinking maybe that’s the way would should lean when targeting senior citizens? Rather than a large image of Mt. Vernon, I think we could use a MAN sitting/standing in front of his home. I interned at a newspaper and everyone seemed to tell me that faces grab attention-people want to know who it is and what they did. In this case I think we could aim for a connection/relation to the reader.
