This program will be administered through the City of Bowie and is funded through a grant from the State of Maryland - Community Legacy program.
This program will facilitate and support environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient home
improvement projects for low- to moderate-income communities in the
Gateway Arts District, a commercial target area in Prince George's
County, Maryland. Workshops will be offered to homeowners to assist with becoming
more energy efficient, as well as funding available to be used for
energy-efficient upgrades such as furnaces, windows, doors, water
heaters, and appliances, such as stoves, dishwashers, and refrigerators,
as well as solar panels.
